In 2004 Huw dropped out of art school after one day. He went on to do various things including being a cycle courier, running a bike shop in Levenshulme, running a freight bike courier business, building camper vans, teaching children to mend bikes, painting, writing, and trying to find a way to balance the need for work/money and the need for a bit more critical thinking. More recently he has become interested in film photography and its capabilities for documentation.
